Going on a Safari during Covid was one of the best decisions made… less people… empty lodges and a relaxed wildlife.
We have chosen Kenya-Experience / Elefant-Tours because of the positive experience during other previous tours on Kilimanjiaro / Tanzania.
We were very lucky to have Simon our Safari tour guide and expert with us. Not only did he navigate us safely through the various national parks but also we got to benefit from his expertise and his incredible knowledge about the animal kingdom and flora. Thanks to his many years of experience, Simon has a special sense when it comes to wait for the perfect moment or location for taking the perfect photograph.
His car Anna (a high end Safari SUV) and him make the perfect couple. The vehicle features window seats only, plenty of space, open roof and fridge for lunch beers and gin tonic sundowners. He also knew where to stock up…; )
The tour was diversified and well balanced with upscale lodges – most of them with swimming pool. We highly recommend the optional Lake Navaisha boot tour. Thank you Simon for making this Safari trip a very special one!
Helpful hints: Make sure you bring your personal binoculars, get an Airtel data package right at the Airport exit (5 GB & Sim for USD 7) and choose your hotel at Diani Beach wisely (beachfront is not equal to beachfront)
