A martial eagle swooping down to attempt to snatch a baby impala — that’s the kind of unforgettable moment Kevin has witnessed and loves sharing with his guests.
Kevin has been a guide since 2016 and holds a diploma in tour guiding and a valid TRA licence from the governing body, the Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA).
He also holds a Silver-rated guide certification from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA). This certification recognises guides with substantial field experience and the expertise to succeed in a rigorous exam, making Kevin one of Kenya’s most qualified safari guides.
Beyond his qualifications, he has a keen eye. He can identify more than 200 bird species and reads animal behaviour like a second language.
Kevin lights up around families and older travellers, and he thrives on the energy of small-group safaris.
His favourite park is Samburu National Reserve, home to the Northern Five, which he particularly loves in the low season. Although wildlife sightings aren’t as good as in the dry season, he loves the feeling of being in the wild amid its green landscapes.
Driven by passion, Kevin turns every game drive into a story worth remembering.
