All our guides hold a Tour Guide Licence issued by Kenya’s Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA). TRA is the government body that regulates the country’s tourism sector and sets the standards every licensed guide must meet.

A number of our guides have also achieved Silver-level certification from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA), an independent examining body that tests knowledge of wildlife, flora, conservation and hospitality.

This rating is earned through years of field experience and rigorous examination, a mark of expertise you’ll notice from the moment you set off.

Together, these credentials mean you can be confident your guide has been independently vetted, tested and recognised as a professional – not simply someone with a vehicle and a working knowledge of the roads.
